Firms report rising software outsourcing orders for Q1 ...

Software outsourcing activities in the rest of 2012 will continue to be stable, as a large number of companies have already won orders for the first quarter next year, according to local enterprises in the industry.

Local enterprises have signed contracts for the whole year since the year?s beginning, thus ensuring their stable operation, said Tran Phuc Hong, deputy director of TMA Solutions, said.

The revenue growth of TMA in the fourth quarter, for example, is to surge about 20%, Hong said. Many customers have even struck agreements with TMA for production for all 2013, he added.

According to Ngo Van Toan, deputy general director of Global CyberSoft (GCS), the local software outsourcing market will see no significant volatility towards the year?s end. GSC has already obtained contracts for the first quarter 2013 and all 2013, he cited.

GCS?s sales growth is forecast at some 10% quarter on quarter in the rest of the year. The firm in the year to date has realized over 75% of the year?s plan of sales.

?The 2013 software outsourcing market is predicted to continue growing and our firm predicts growth rate at about 30-40% from 2012, with the United States and Japan as the two major markets,? Toan noted.

Nguyen Thien Tam, sales director of Sutrix Media Vietnam, said his enterprise had welcomed more new customers from Singapore, Hong Kong and other Asian nations. Tam?s company also enjoyed strong growth of 20% in leasing out software programmers in the past three months.

Similarly, Mai Hoai An, chairman of IMT Solutions, said his company had signed software outsourcing contracts with several customers sufficient for the end of the year and the first quarter next year.

The sales growth of IMT Solutions in the last quarter of 2012 will be some 10% over the third quarter, with total sales expected to jump roughly 30% year-on-year, An told the Daily.
