Top 5 Stories this Week: Turn your iPad in to a Mac wannabe, iPhone mini pricing, Tim Cook call and more

Top 5 Stories

We made it through another week relatively unscathed, and there?s been a nice variety of news and content to report on over the past 7 days. Whether it?s some cool jailbreak tweak ideas, rumors of iWatches and cheaper iPhones or the well publicized call Tim Cook took part in. Check out this week?s top stories.

Kyle runs down a couple of really cool tweaks and settings you can use to transform your iPad OS to look exactly like Mac OS. It?s a worthwhile read for anyone who?s ever wanted a desktop experience on their tablet.

Although analysts are far from reliable when it comes to predicting Apple?s movements, we can?t help but bump in to a few along the way. The most recent to make the headlines is one analyst?s prediction that the low-cost iPhone will costs somewhere around $250-$300 off contract. Virtually half the price of the iPhone 5.

Tim took time out of his busy schedule to answer questions on a call organized by Goldman Sachs. He was asked a variety of probing questions. I found his answers very calming. Apple is still Apple.

Yet another rumor to make the headlines this week. Many sources and publications are certain that Apple will release an iWatch. It?s not a matter of if, but when.

And finally, another tidbit of speculation. Could iOS be rebuilt to support processors with more cores? Do we want to see quad-core phones? Or is the iPhone 5 speedy enough?
